  • Daytime Highs: ~78°F (25–26°C)
     
  • Nighttime Lows: ~43°F (6–7°C)
     
  • Conditions: Mild and comfortable with warm days and cool evenings as summer transitions into fall.
     
  • Precipitation: Some chance of rain early in the month due to lingering monsoon activity; overall drier than summer.
     
  • Notes: Excellent weather for hiking and hunting. B

  • Notes: Expect wide temperature swings. Proper layering is essential.
     

November

  • Daytime Highs: ~55°F (13°C)
     
  • Nighttime Lows: ~21°F (-6°C)
     
  • Conditions: Cold, especially overnight, with frequent frost and sub-freezing temperatures.
     
  • Precipitation / Snow: Very dry overall, but snow becomes increasingly likely as winter sets in.
     
  • Notes: Cold and potentially snowy conditions should be expected while in the field.

ARCHERY

Bow Setup

  • Modern compound bow, 50–70 lb draw weight
  • Broadheads 100 grain or heavier
  • Fixed blade, cut-on-contact

Not Recommended

  • Expandable or chisel tip broadheads

Practice

  • Expect shots 20–50 yards; practice to 60
  • Practice standing, kneeling, uphill/downhill
  • Fixed 5-pin sight: 20–60 yards
  • Bow sling recommended

RIFLE

Setup

  • Scoped bolt-action rifle
  • Popular calibers: 7mm Mag, .300 Mag
  • Common scope: 3x9x40
  • Zero at 200 yards (unless using ballistic reticle)

Practice Positions

  • Prone
  • Off shooting sticks

MUZZLELOADER

Legal Requirements

  • In-line .50 caliber
