Hunt New Mexico Without Waiting Years
New Mexico’s big game licenses are awarded through a random annual draw, no points, no waiting. Every non-resident hunter has a fresh chance each year.

How It Works
Note: Non-residents must pay license/tag fees at application. Unsuccessful applicants receive a refund minus a small fee.
Q: What makes New Mexico’s draw different?
A: NM has no preference points. Every applicant starts fresh each year, giving non-residents a fair chance at high-quality hunts.
Q: Can I apply without an outfitter?
A: Yes. Non-resident licenses are split between guided (outfitter) and self-guided pools. Applying with us enters you in the outfitter pool, which often improves hunt planning and success odds.
Q: When is the draw?
A: Applications open early each year. Draw results are typically released in spring, and hunts occur in fall/winter depending on species.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: License and tag fees must be paid at application. If unsuccessful, the state refunds the cost minus a small non-refundable application fee.
Q: What are my odds?
A: Odds vary by species, unit, and season. Premium hunts have lower odds, but all applicants start on equal footing every year.
Q: What do you handle vs. what I handle?
A: We handle hunt consultation, application guidance, and pre-draw planning. You handle travel, gear, and final application payment.
